🚨 UPDATE: Meetn, the online meeting platform, rises to become the top choice alternative to Zoom.

Research shows that outdoor landscapes are frequently used in virtual environments. Meeting participants who changed their background chose an outdoor landscape, followed by simple blurred background for 25% and company-supplied background for 20%. If you want to replace your surroundings with a virtual backdrop for your next meeting, here is all you need to know.
Prerequisites for changing your background.
admin approval is the first thing you have to remember when changing the virtual background image. The feature is available to individual users, but the administrator must turn it on for the entire enterprise account. It will appear grey to non- admin users if they try to change the background.
The admins of Zoom must fulfill this requirement.
You can open Account settings from the navigation menu if you sign in as an administrator.
Under the In Meeting (Advanced) section, you can find the virtual background option.
If the setting is not enabled, turn it on. You may be asked to confirm the change.
Allow users to upload custom background images to On, and allow use of videos for virtual background to On. Users will be able to add their own background images.
There are many other options, like mandatory background for some users and default background images.
Click on Save to exit the web console.
The same steps can be repeated for different user groups. To turn background images on/off for an entire group of employees, sign in to zoom as an administrator and group management from user management. Follow the last five steps.
Users will be able to access the virtual background option with these settings turned on.
The dimensions of the image and video are the next thing to remember. If you want to use zoom, you have to use either aPNG orJPG format. It’s a good idea to have the same aspect ratio on your camera. The aspect ratio of the background image should be the same as that of the laptop or desktop.
If you don’t know your camera’s aspect ratio, skip this step and choose a background image with a resolution of at least 800dpi.
The resolution of the video files can range from 480360 to 19201080.
The green screen feature is optional. The green screen makes it easier for Zoom to apply the background and use minimum system resources during the meeting. If the screen is green or blue in color, you should stand out in contrast and the color of the screen should be different from your clothes.
There are 10 steps to changing your background.
You can add a custom virtual background to a zoom meeting once all the necessary prerequisites are in place.
